I was raised in a covenant home, attending the Christian Reformed Church and later the United Reformed Church when it began in the early 1990s. I don’t recall a time when I didn’t believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. During my late teenage years, I began to experience the Lord’s presence in my life more personally.
I served as a deacon in the United Reformed Church and was later installed as an elder, serving for some time. In 2009, my family and I moved from Ontario, Canada, to Pennsylvania due to a work transfer. Finding a confessionally sound, Reformed church in the area was crucial to our decision to move, and we found that in Redeemer.
I see my call to be an elder at Redeemer as a high calling which requires a deep commitment to serving God and the church community.
