Rick was born in NJ and was a committed Roman Catholic until age 19 when he attended a Baptist Gospel rally, gave his heart to Jesus, and was spiritually born again. In 1982, he and his wife, Fay were introduced to the Reformed expression of the Faith, which he refers to as being “born again, again”.

Rick and Fay have three daughters, all of whom, by God’s grace, are disciples of Christ: Sarah, Rebekah, and Rachel. The family joined Redeemer in 2006 having been attracted by the traditional worship, regular communion, depth of Reformed orthodoxy, and familial spirit. He was ordained as a Ruling Elder in 2013. Rick is retired and working on his PhD in Church History, and is heavily involved in the Cumberland county community.
